UCLA geographer Glen MacDonald named to John Muir Endowed Chair

Professor MacDonald has been selected as the first occupant of a new UCLA chair in geography named after the naturalist and activist who helped preserve the Yosemite Valley as a national park and founded the Sierra Club.
