Our institutions suffer from racism, sexual harassment, and income disparities. We recognize the need to discuss difficult and sensitive topics with one another in order to address the dominant culture of our institutions that leads to racism, sexual harassment, and other forms of oppression.
DiversiTea is a space for conversation where people discuss social science literature or news articles relating to inclusion and share their lived experience in a brave and supportive space.
To complement the conversations that occur during DiversiTea, we alternate meetings with a partner program, Courageous Coffee, which focuses on turning awareness into action. Whether preparing ballots for elections, letter-writing, or creating stress relief glitter bottles for mental health awareness, we collectively express our shared commitment to justice and social engagement.
