Will is a PhD student in UCLA’s Environment and Sustainability Program researching regional climate risks at the intersection of climate modeling and policy. His work brings a focus on climate variability and global teleconnections to inform adaptation planning and exploring the risks of emerging climate intervention technologies. Before coming to UCLA, Will has worked designing a fleet of earth observation satellites, researched nuclear policy and non-proliferation technology, and built detectors for an experimental cosmology telescope. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
