Mike is a Senior Integrated Water Management Specialist with Stantec Consulting, working from the Pasadena, CA office, and holds an appointment as visiting scholar at the UC Irvine Department of Anthropology. His PhD is in Geography from UCLA, where he worked with Professors John Agnew and Glen MacDonald. My research and ongoing interest considers governance transitions in pursuit of equitable resilience.
Mike is a fellow of the Switzer Foundation, and participates in leadership roles at the American Water Resources Association. He welcomes inquiries from students, having taught at UCLA and California State University Northridge, and advised or mentored students interested in natural resources management from the Claremont Colleges, Occidental College, UCLA, USC, several CSU campuses, Loyola-Marymount and Antioch Universities.
