Tom Smith in Thampers Media: Cameroon’s rich biodiversity is under serious threat.
Tom Smith, founder of the Congo Basin Institute (CBI) was recently interviewed to discuss the status of Cameroon’s disappearing biodiversity and to shine a light on how rainforest elephants, primates and birds play an important role in maintaining the rainforest and fighting deforestation.
CBI’s works helps the government to make informed land management decisions and gives guidance on how to best promote reforestation in collaboration with local communities.
