Environmental science and engineering alumni Tiffany Yap authors a debut graphic novel sharing the story of a young puma in central California facing habitat loss, poison, dangerous roads, conflict with farm animals and wildfire.
Drawing from meticulous research and her expertise as a conservation scientist, Yap weaves together many diverse animal and human stories, celebrating the beauty and wonder of ecology, interconnectivity, and representation.
“A must-read for young scientists, those who love to nerd out about biodiversity, like me, and simply anyone who cares about living in a flourishing world,” said MarceloBonta, Co-founder of the Center for Diversity & the Environment and Co-founder of the Environmental Professionals of Color.
